Exploring the techniques of the great masters of Jewish meditation and learning to apply them to our own lives
Participants may take the series or drop in on individual classes.
Beyond relaxation or merely quieting the mind, which are positive developments, Kabbalistic meditation is a means to become centered, to wean ourselves from identifying with externals and to redirect our focus toward the Center of all reality, the Creator. By doing so we forge a connection between the self and the Divine, cleansing any negative influence that may have been a barrier.

Exploring the Nature of Prayer.
Focusing for the next few months on the Shemonei Esrei
Discovering the origins, meanings, and structure of the daily prayers. With Spiritual Commentary, Meditations and Kabbalistic Interpretations.
 
The lectures will be held on successive Wednesday evenings. Participants may take the series or drop in on individual classes.
